On March 6, 2015 tabla legend Pandit Taranath Rama Rao would have turned 100 years.
In 1969 he and Ustad Zia Mohiuddin Dagar visited Sweden on their way back to India from U.S. This is a recording from that occasion, with Panditji giving a lecture-demonstration on tabla and a short solo. In the last track he talks a little about himself and his gurus. This release is a rare gem since Pandit Taranath hardly did any recordings.
